Buddy was rescued from the county animal shelter in April. He is the sweetest, most loving pup you'll ever met. He is about 2 years old.

Originally breed to work for fishermen the Labrador later redeveloped as a retrieving dog. The Labrador Retriever excels at not only sporting activities, but also a seeing eye dog, rescue dog, and police dog. The Labradors great talent however is being a great member of the family. All of these fine qualities have lead to the Labrador being the most popular dog breed according to the AKC. The Labrador Retriever is a large breed, weighing as much as 85 pounds and standing as tall as 24 inches.
