The Staffordshire Bull Terrier has a very similar appearance to the American Pit Bull, just smaller. Staffordshire Terriers are however more subdued and calm then the Pit Bull. They are typically very fond of their human companions, especially children. In England, their country of origin, they are often called Nanny Dogs because of their love for children. Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies will grow to as heavy as 28 pounds and as tall as 16 inches, making them the perfect size for any home.
